1. Summary

Brain is a preserved human brain kept in a life-support vessel in D5 and connected to an artificial experiential environment, among the level's most unusual experiments. Once a destitute individual whose human life was marked by profound suffering, he now experiences an existence of extraordinary pleasure. Serene and unafraid, he leaves to Edmund the decision to ignore him, talk with him or end his life.
