1. Summary
A statement of the Memetic Containment Task Force that the phenomena of the Skull Helmet have exceeded its containment models.
2. Text
Memetic Containment Task Force.
"We have spent years studying how information propagates through the human mind.
We believed we understood the mechanisms well enough to control them.
The phenomena associated with the Skull Helmet have demonstrated otherwise.
Some informational structures appear capable of reproducing beyond our containment models.
We are no longer certain that observing them is a passive act.
I fear we have misunderstood the nature of what we are attempting to contain."
3. Context
The Task Force worked within D6's departments dedicated to anomalous subjective experience, memetic phenomena, information hazards, and cognitive containment, established after the arrival of the Skull Helmet.
The distinction the researchers came to draw, on how the hazard passes through understanding, is described with the phenomenon.

The D6 story presents Documents A to M as narrative reference drafts intended to preserve the philosophical discussions, scientific disputes, and discoveries encountered throughout D6.
4. Gameplay
The D6 documents may be distributed among personal quarters, scientific offices, restricted archives, computer terminals, and the deeper containment installations.
