1. Content
No topic is creator-reserved any longer. On 2026-10-30 Matheus decided that the game's secret is interpreted by the player and that the endings determine the truth: no ending establishes the true nature of the Skull Helmet, and the final deaths are choices, not necessities. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.
The topics formerly reserved, and where each now stands:
1.1 The Ontological Revelation
Formerly: the central ontological secret and the actual contents of the revelation. Now interpreted by the player; no ending establishes it. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.
1.2 The Necessity of the Final Procedures
Formerly: why all three final procedures were necessary, and the mechanism requiring the three deaths. Now the deaths are choices of the player and the characters, not necessities. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.
1.3 The Mechanism of the Final Procedure
Formerly: the precise mechanism of the final procedure. Now the Skull Helmet's mechanism stays scientifically unresolved by design. See: Artifacts and Technology › Skull Helmet.
1.4 The Father's Needed Object and Incomplete Solution
Formerly: the object or data the father needed from the complex. Now settled: Friedrich needs the Skull Helmet, which he could not recover himself. See: Characters › Friedrich.
1.5 The Meaning of Friedrich's Apology
Formerly: the meaning of the father's apology for having brought the twins into existence. Now interpreted by the player. See: In-World Documents › Friedrich's Letter.
1.6 The Reason for the Twins' Survival and Isolation
Formerly: the precise ontological reason the twins' survival and isolation were necessary. Now settled: Friedrich prepared them to recover the Skull Helmet he could not reach himself; what more it means is interpreted by the player. See: Characters › Friedrich.
1.7 The Ultimate Significance of the Final Procedure
Formerly: the ultimate significance of the final procedure. Now interpreted by the player. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.
