1.1 High-Level Progression
The progression is high-level, not a fixed mission script.
- Birthday prologue: wake in the mansion on the day before the twins' eighteenth birthday; learn controls and interactions; encounter The Call of Cthulhu and family clues.
- Hidden truth at home: on the birthday, the butler reveals the concealed facility and the father in stasis; receive the urgent mission and the basic explanation of information hazards.
- Entry and descent: travel to the concealed Amazon complex; move through its surface and its interconnected explorable levels, D1 to D6; evade patrols and threats, solve grounded puzzles, recover documents, and investigate multiple classified programs.
- Layered revelations: uncover the Skull Device's history; its Indigenous custodians; the confiscation and massacre; the consciousness program; the father's involvement; and evidence that information itself caused the collapse. Find the necessary elements of the father's incomplete solution.
- Collapse of the caretaker: while supporting the research, the butler becomes fascinated with dangerous knowledge, deteriorates, and threatens the sister. The protagonist faces a lethal confrontation with the man who raised them.
- Return to the mansion: with the required device, preparation, and understanding, the surviving siblings return to the father's stasis installation.
- The decision about the father: Edmund preserves the father's stasis, terminates it, or fits the Skull Device to him; if he uses it, the father's body reacts violently and he dies.
- The sister's decision: only if the device was used on the father, the sister decides for herself whether to wear it; if she does, she dies.
- Edmund's decision: only then may Edmund wear the device himself, which begins a unique subjective finale that ends in an abrupt cut to black, a fiction disclaimer and the credits; otherwise the game ends on the Skull Helmet resting on a table. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.

1.2 The Secret
The secret is interpreted by the player. No ending establishes the true nature of the Skull Helmet, and the final deaths are choices, not necessities; the endings determine the truth. See: Campaign › Final Chapter.
