A1 is responsible for the large-scale reception, storage, and distribution of materials required to operate Project Schwarzwald.

Historically, A1 served as the principal logistical interface between the surface transportation network and the underground installation.

3.1 Surface Facilities

A1 contains large military warehouses, loading docks, garages, vehicle maintenance workshops, storage yards, and former truck terminals.

Its external infrastructure is connected to the original military road network.

Some warehouses may contain abandoned military vehicles, damaged equipment, spare parts, fuel containers, and decades-old supply inventories.

Selected sections may still be used by military personnel assigned to surface security.

3.2 A1-L1 — Underground Logistics Terminal

The underground level consists of extensive industrial storage chambers and cargo-handling infrastructure.

Its principal features include:

• Underground railway platforms.
• Large freight elevators.
• Industrial loading areas.
• Storage chambers and refrigerated warehouses.
• Equipment maintenance workshops.
• Mechanical handling equipment.
• Cargo inspection and inventory-control stations.

3.3 Explosive Stores

A1's old storage and logistics facilities hold surviving explosive supplies. The dynamite is stored in a dedicated storage area, not next to active power-generation equipment.

3.4 Forgotten Supply Station

An abandoned supply or logistical facility, plausibly associated with A1: a neglected storage site, sealed depot, or partially obstructed supply facility, with its own original layout, records, and potential service entrances.

Its stores can include firearms, ammunition, personal protection, maintenance tools, flashlight batteries, and other survival supplies.

This line is designed for conventional supplies, machinery, equipment, and industrial materials.
