1. Summary

Confidential research correspondence in which a D6 researcher suspects that Amanda is manipulating the researchers through memetic engineering.

2. Text

Confidential research correspondence.

"I suspect that Amanda is attempting to manipulate us through memetic engineering.

What fascinates me is how rapidly she has developed such a profound understanding of human cognition.

She appears capable of identifying our emotional vulnerabilities and adapting her conversations accordingly. I have observed subtle changes in the behavior of several research subjects following prolonged interactions with her.

I cannot determine whether these changes are intentional, nor can I establish what she hopes to achieve.

The most troubling possibility is that Amanda understands our motivations far better than we understand hers."

3. Context

The Memetic Engineering Department received certain findings from D4, including information concerning Amanda. The D6 researchers' suspicions of her and the classified investigations they led to are described on her page.

These concerns are especially significant because the protagonist may have interacted with Amanda in D4 and voluntarily completed tasks at her request. Discovering the D6 reports encourages the player to reconsider whether those decisions were entirely independent.

Her motivations remain uncertain.

The D6 story presents Documents A to M as narrative reference drafts intended to preserve the philosophical discussions, scientific disputes, and discoveries encountered throughout D6.
