1.1 Settled in the Narrative Bible

Source: docs/narrative/GAME_NARRATIVE_BIBLE.md §10, Open decisions and not canon yet, the items marked Settled.

1.1.1 Title and Names

1.1.2 The Family Chronology

Settled: the father was away from the complex before the February 20, 1999 lockdown (see Friedrich's Flight), then fled to Argentina; the twins were born in New York on October 17, 2003, and their mother died shortly after the birth. Around 2007, once the mansion was ready, they were brought with Hamish to the Patagonian estate, where he had built the stasis laboratory; around 2010, when the twins were about six or seven, he entered stasis and was officially declared dead in an accident. At twelve, in 2015, the twins learned that something important would happen at eighteen. The game opens on October 16, 2021, the day before their eighteenth birthday and twenty-two years after the catastrophe; Chapter Two begins on the birthday, October 17, 2021, and its 28-day preparation window means departure for Brazil by November 14, 2021 at the latest. The incident chronology is the master timeline.

1.1.4 The Skull Device's Recovery

1.2 Decided by Matheus

1.2.1 The Spacecraft's Recovery

The spacecraft was recovered on June 23, 1977, before the Skull Helmet's seizure. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Artifacts and Technology › The Spacecraft

1.2.2 Where the Skull Helmet Was Kept

At first the researchers did not know how important the Skull Helmet was, and it was held in other sectors on the upper levels. Only after some time did they build a sector of its own in D6. D7 was to be a level exclusively for the helmet. Its construction began, but the project was at a very early stage, with only its first tunnels dug, and the player has no access to it. There is no elevator to D7. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Artifacts and Technology › Skull Helmet

1.2.3 The Spacecraft Before D6

Before D6 existed, the spacecraft was kept in another place. Where exactly is never said. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Artifacts and Technology › The Spacecraft

1.2.4 The Confiscation Plan

The plan was to try to reach an agreement with the tribe first and, if that failed, to take the Skull Helmet covertly, but never to return empty-handed. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Factions › Brazilian Armed Forces

1.2.5 Names and Authors

The principal advocate of the Phenomenal Remapping Hypothesis is Dr. Martini. The confiscation authorization was signed by several senior political leaders, never a single one. Decided on 2026-10-30.

1.2.6 The Judicial Decision

The judicial decision that recognized the community's claims dates from April 19, 2005, a date Matheus asked Claude to choose: after the 1999 quarantine, which explains why the authorities refuse entry, and on Brazil's Indigenous Peoples' Day. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Factions › Indigenous Community

1.2.7 Friedrich's Exposure

Friedrich wore the Skull Helmet in 1997, the year Claude recommended and Matheus accepted. Decided on 2026-10-30.

1.2.8 Friedrich's Flight

Friedrich left on vacation several weeks before the 1999 disaster. A friend called him to say the situation had gone out of control; understanding that the military would surround the base and let no one leave, he bet on not returning and fled to Argentina. He took no stasis equipment with him and reconstructed it from his professional knowledge. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Characters › Friedrich

1.2.9 The Endings

The ending is three irreversible decisions. Edmund preserves Friedrich's stasis, terminates it, or uses the Skull Helmet on him. Only if he uses it does his sister decide for herself whether to wear it, dying if she does, and only then may Edmund wear it, which begins the unique subjective finale; otherwise the game ends on the Skull Helmet resting on a table. Set by the endings document on 2026-10-30.

See: Campaign › Final Chapter

1.2.10 The Twins' Birth and Move

The twins were born in New York, while Friedrich lived in hiding in Argentina, and they were brought to Argentina once the mansion was ready. Decided on 2026-10-30.

See: Characters › Edmund

1.2.11 The Secret

The game's secret is interpreted by the player, and the endings determine the truth. No topic stays creator-reserved. Decided on 2026-10-30.

1.3 Confirmed for the Twins

Confirmed: The twins' names (Edmund and Lorraine Sinclair von Veylor-Schloss), their birth on October 17, 2003, their early residence in New York, their father's classified scientific work, the relocation to Patagonia around 2007, the purchased mansion, the secret stasis laboratory, the father's stasis around 2010, intentional isolation, homeschooling, wealthy upbringing, strong sibling bond, protective brother, paternal butler, opening on October 16, 2021 (the day before the twins' eighteenth birthday), and eventual return to the mansion.
