See: Artifacts and Technology › Indigenous Preparation
- Despair Pills — Developed by Schwarzwald researchers as a partial pharmaceutical approximation of the indigenous preparation. See: Artifacts and Technology › Despair Pills. Their effect in play: See: Systems › Information Hazard
- Friedrich's access notebook — A handwritten notebook prepared by his father, Friedrich Sinclair von Veylor-Schloss. It contains access codes, technical references, and personal annotations concerning the Schwarzwald installation. See: Artifacts and Technology › Friedrich's Access Notebook
- Emergency Refuge Chambers — The checkpoint facilities of the game world. See: Systems › Persistent Consequences
1.4 Information Hazard Terms
- Information Hazard — Specific knowledge can inflict devastating psychological consequences on people who fully comprehend it, and survivors of exposure may convey the same harmful understanding to others. See: Phenomena › Information Hazard. See: Systems › Information Hazard
- Information Exposure, Hallucination Severity and Information Tolerance — The three core variables of the information hazard system. See: Systems › Information Hazard
- Memetic quarantine — The deeper reality of the site's catastrophe: information had begun to spread from affected personnel to anyone who grasped their disclosures. See: Phenomena › Memetics
